For those following this complaint: ByteWave Technologies has refused to acknowledge any wrongdoing regarding the Kids & Baby issue I described. This took two years, but I'm relieved it's over.

I should mention that after my Kids & Baby problem with ByteWave Technologies, I found that their terms of service actually allow for partial refunds in cases of service interruption. This might be relevant to others. Alice replied in an undertone to the other paw.

After my initial complaint, ByteWave Technologies contacted me to troubleshoot the microwave. We tried several solutions over the phone, but none fixed the issue. I'm still waiting for a replacement or refund.
