Overcharged by The Modern Trade for service

On November 25, 1978, I signed up for The Modern Trade's customer support at their South Maybellstad, Alaska location. I was told that the service would include membership, but after paying $236.26, I discovered this wasn't the case. When I called to resolve this, Annabell A. was unhelpful and refused to address my concerns.
