Luxury Habitat Alliance Enterprises refused to address issue

I am writing regarding order #ORD-2278-VAS-9739 placed with Luxury Habitat Alliance Enterprises on January 14, 1989. I paid $485.5 for gadget, but when it arrived, I discovered is not compatible as claimed. I've made numerous attempts to contact customer service, but Rosemary F. and other representatives have not been helpful in resolving this matter.
