Data loss incident with SoftVirtual Corp. service

I purchased a unit from SoftVirtual Corp. on October 28, 1995. Shortly after using it, I experienced was damaged upon delivery. I contacted their customer service on multiple occasions, but they have not resolved the issue. I spoke with Arthur P. who promised to escalate my case, but I've heard nothing since.
