Quality issues with Expert Engineering & Sons product

On September 1, 1981, I signed up for Expert Engineering & Sons's troubleshooting service at their Kozeymouth, Hawaii location. I was told that the service would include unit, but after paying $948.1, I discovered this wasn't the case. When I called to resolve this, Derek K. was unhelpful and refused to address my concerns.
